Munster Gerome

Ok , so I've decided to add cheese to this 'wine blog'. That's because I have the same problem with cheeses- try them, love some and then can never remember the name of it.
TOday, I fell in love with the Munster Gerome at Jim & Andrea's place. Soft & stinky ( ah heavenly)... need I say more. Quite pungent. Daxy ( my cat) was quite curious about the lovely stink left on my fingers when I came home.

Hello Jeannie, I saw your comment on my article about munster gerome on my blog.
I just returned from the United States and was in New York City for a few days. I saw Munster Gerome for sale in a few food stores.

If you love Munster, try Livarot and if you can find it in the USA, one of my very favorite cheeses, Epoisse.

I'll have to come back and check out your wine blog because I am quite involved in the production end as far as the cultivation and harvesting of the grapes for Chateau Vieux Chevrols. They make a Lalande Pomerol...an appelation in the Bordeaux region.

I am an eager student and getting quite an education...this will be the 7th year I will work there and now I am there around 2 months a year.

Bon apetite!
